11:58. Power back on. We will try to open at 1:00. Have a few things to do before unlocking the doors. Power is still off. We do not know when we will open today, if at all. Just keep checking. Dogs have frozen Kongs. Cats seem to be ok. If we don’t get power soon and it gets 90 deg, we will be looking at purchasing ice and battery operated fans, etc. All of our vaccines destroyed. No power. We have been without power since around 8:00 last night. No AC, no phones, no internet. We hope to open at noon if power is restored but check before you come. Hoping to have AC for the animals soon. They are somewhat stressed but being fed and cared for by flashlight. Adoption appointments may have to be rescheduled. Let the power be restored soon. (fb)
