Founder

Tabitha Bell, who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, understands firsthand the challenges faced by individuals with mobility issues. Despite predictions that she would require a wheelchair, Bell attributes her independence to her service dog. Her personal experience led her to establish Pawsitive Pawsibilities to help others in similar situations.

Activities and Achievements

Pawsitive Pawsibilities conducts fundraising events such as the Super Paws 5k to support the placement of service dogs. To date, the organization has successfully placed ten service dogs with individuals across the country. These dogs assist with various needs, including balance support, wheelchair assistance, and hearing alerts. The organization is entirely donation-based, with 100% of donations going towards the purchase and training of service dogs.

Community Involvement

Pawsitive Pawsibilities encourages young people to get involved through initiatives like Puppy Paws, which helps children organize philanthropic projects such as lemonade stands or bake sales. This approach fosters a sense of community service and pride among young participants.
