🆘WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A FOSTER🆘 We would really like to save this mom before she delivers her puppies in a shelter. Shelters aren’t safe for babies! Momma is young, she is friendly and has done well with other dogs. She has been picked up and returned to her owner SEVEN times. Enough is enough! She will need a quiet place in your home, away from other animals. Momma hormones are crazy (as many of us know), and she will be protective of her babies. Keeping her away will keep her calm, safe and happy. A spare room, laundry room, basement, would be a great place for her. We need her foster home to be within 30mins of downtown Dayton so we can get supplies to you, and should there be any issues, get to you quickly. We supply everything you need including cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, and whatever you may need. We also have 24/7 support and can be there to help with the birth if needed. Please help us help her. She didn’t ask to be in this situation. We’d like to make it better for her. Why are people commenting on rescue posts stating they want to foster, but never bother submitting the application? We’re seeing this trend everywhere, and I’m sure ALL rescues are dealing this. And why do those that submit the application not respond to emails, texts and phone calls? We’re trying to help you, help save a dogs life. Folks, if you want to know where a rescues frustration starts, it’s right here. We truly don’t want to come across as lecturing - especially to those of you who actually make a statement like this and follow it through, but we have a very important job to do, and spend a LOT of our very precious free time, doing it. Being ignored is extremely disheartening Dogs dying starts with irresponsible owners, but that aside, there are millions of dogs dying every day, and very few seem to care. Stating you want to help, but not following through, isn’t helpful. It isn’t. You have to put those words into action, and actually do it. If good intentions ruled the world we wouldn’t be in this situation. Save a life. Foster or even adopt a dog. It isn’t easy, but a rescue will help and support you. Can’t foster a pit bull? Want a little dog? Want a senior? Want to nurse a sick dog back to health? Want a puppy? Want to whelp puppies? Want a purebred? We can find you the dog you want.
