This Walthers Mainline model represents a former New York Central NW2 built in 1949. These are exclusive road numbers that are only available from the PCRRHS. Item 905-20600 is a model of PC NW2 8803 and comes with an ESU “essential sound unit” decoder. The cost is $149 for members and $179 for non-members. On this date in 1976, the railroad assets of the Penn Central Transportation Company were conveyed to the Consolidated Rail Corporation.
