Mission: To provide for a wide array of quality veterinary care, advocacy, and education for rural Alaskan companion animals and their people.Alaska Rural Veterinary Outreach, Inc. (ARVO) coordinates volunteer veterinary medical teams to provide spay-neuter surgery, vaccines, and general wellness care, to Alaska's off-road rural communities where no veterinary services are available. Our mission is to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets (thousands of unwanted litters, strays and abandoned dogs across the state) with an aggressive spay-neuter program.

Alaska friends, help us get the word out!! ARVO will be in Cordova the weekend of 6/20-22 to offer veterinary services! This will be our first Cordova clinic and we are excited for the City of Cordova and FVAS to be making us so welcome. We'll be offering spay and neuter services for dogs and cats as well as wellness visits and vaccines. Visit our website at www.akrvo.org to make an appointment!
