Rescue, rehabilitating and re- homing dogs in need of a second chance Dog rescue located in Winters, California We rescue dogs from rural and under-sourced shelters that do not have adequate medical support, staff or facilities and few potential adopters coming to the shelter. Euthanasia rates at these shelters are extremely high (as much as 80-90%). Many of our dogs come directly off the euthanasia list or from the kill room.Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need of a second chance. They are provided medical care, quality nutrition and the opportunity to de-stress and socialize in a home environment, enabling them to be 'good citizens' in their new life.
