The Lithuanian Athletic Club was formed in Brooklyn on February 5th, 1903 and is the oldest Lithuanian sports organization in the world. Our mission is to:To promote sports and Lithuanian culture to Lithuanians and people of Lithuanian descent in the New York areaTo foster a love and respect of sports and sportsmanship among the girls and boys who are members of the clubTo participate and organize sports events with other Lithuanian Athletic ClubsTo foster interest in Lithuanian and American culturesTo cooperate with other Lithuanian groups based in New York, throughout America, Canada and worldwideNY Lithuanian Athletic Club is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
