Meet Rosie – Lancashire Heeler Mix | Approx. 4–5 Years Old Personality Traits: Affectionate, Athletic, Brave, Couch Potato, Curious, Dignified, Friendly, Funny, Independent, Gentle, Loving, Loyal, Playful, Protective Rosie is currently one of the dogs under the care of @chesterscornerrescue, living at a boarding kennel. Sadly, she needs to find a new home—or at least a foster—by the end of this month as the rescue is at full capacity and can no longer afford to board her. I spent some time with Rosie recently, gave her a bath at Pet Food Express, and she was a total sweetheart—calm in the car and easy to handle. We even met some children afterward, and she was absolutely wonderful with them (unfortunately, my phone died before I could capture the moment!). Rosie has been walked with other dogs and seems to do best with calm companions and slow introductions. Ideally, she’d thrive as an only dog in a loving home with adults and/or children—but I also believe she could be a fantastic companion for a single, active person looking for a loyal buddy. Right now, our top priority is finding her a foster home to get her out of boarding and into a more stable environment. If you or someone you know can help Rosie, please reach out.
