News

Our staff and volunteers were hard at work yesterday, sorting through mountains of donations in the basement. These bags are full of clothing and textiles that, unfortunately, we can't pass along to families- but don’t worry, we make sure they’re recycled responsibly. This is a great reminder: if you wouldn’t feel good about giving it to a friend because it’s stained, torn, or overly worn, it’s probably not right for the Village Closet either. Thoughtful donations help us support families with dignity and care—thank you for being part of that effort! #ittakesavillage413 #recycledtextiles #westernMA #hartspringsfoundation (fb)

A big THANK YOU to Texas Roadhouse for their generous donation of free kids meal vouchers! Your support helps us spread extra joy to local families this season. We’re so grateful for your kindness—hoppin’ with appreciation! #ittakesavillage413 #texasroadhouse (fb)
