Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary’s mission is to rescue and save as many cats and kittens from abandonment and euthanasia as possible. As part of that process, we are committed to finding our felines loving adoptive homes. Additionally, we also want to provide high quality, low cost spay/neuter and rabies clinics to our local community. HVARs is committed to keeping our spay/neuter clinics affordable, convenient and staffed by skilled and compassionate veterinary professionals.

Our mission started when we felt there was such a need to be able to bring affordable vet care to our community. In 2011 we opened our first low cost spayneuter and vaccine clinicas a mobile hospital. Weekly we ran clinics out of our local Petco39s parking lot where people were able to come and receive vaccines and affordable spaying neutering services.
