Peaceful Playgrounds Foundation
Peaceful Playgrounds was an early partner organization of Let's Move, an organization championed by then First Lady Michelle Obama. During President Obama's second term in office, the focus became converting support for private funding of physical activity and nutrition programming from federal funding to private and corporate funding of these programs.In 2016 the Peaceful Playgrounds Foundation was formed to reach a larger audience more efficiently and support the community goals of corporations who wish to promote children's health and well-being. This made sense as various corporations approached Peaceful Playgrounds Inc. about partnerships for this purpose.Today, the Peaceful Playgrounds Foundation is up and running and entertaining corporate participation with those who's philosophy match our commitment to creating environments that encourage the next generation of youth toward healthy lifestyles.
