The Manhattan Wind Ensemble is an approximately 50-person symphonic band composed of both professional and non-professional musicians in New York, NY. A Wind Ensemble for the Manhattan Community that brings together dedicated musicians to learn, grow and perform traditional and modern classical music. The MWE hopes to have an inexpensive place for working adults, professional and non-professional musicians as well as hobbyists to come together as a community. The MWE hopes to have fun while playing challenging music, forming a group that supports and teaches each other as well as growing together. The MWE hopes to perform for the enjoyment of all members of the community in a fun and affordable setting.
