Pro bono interior design organization serving disabled veterans returning home from the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The mission of Designing for Veterans is to provide functional and aesthetic environments custom built to facilitate the specific disability of the veteran concerned. The mission further integrates design solutions that aid in the recovery and/or healing of the vet through the use of designed physical therapy solutions and psychology of design. We provide a long term living environment that brings independence and freedom of movement to each veteran we serve.

We're thrilled to announce that the Alexandria Peer Group of the ASID Washington Metro Chapter have begun a new project in partnership with us - Operation: Renovate & Recover 2016. We will be sharing their progress over the coming months, so stay tuned. How You Can Help: Now through 2016 a series of fundraisers will be held to raise industry and community awareness and support for this worthy renovation project, culminating in a gala event full of food, live entertainment, a Silent Auction, Raffle, and Live Auction to fund the renovation.
