THE MISSION OF THE UPPER SAVANNAH LAND TRUST IS TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT CONSERVATION OF NATURAL AND SCENIC LANDS, FARMS, FORESTS, WATERWAYS, AND OPEN SPACES ON OUR EIGHT-COUNTY AREA: ABBEVILLE, ANDERSON, EDGEFIELD, GREENWOOD, LAURENS, MCCORMICK, NEWBERRY, AND SALUDA COUNTIES IN THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

Our service area includes the counties of Abbeville Anderson Edgefield Greenwood Laurens Newberry McCormick and Saluda. Food Fiber Protecting our farms and forests from development helps ensure a safe and affordable food and fiber supply for a rapidly growing world population.

Upper Savannah Land Trust
Please join us for our Annual Meeting on Friday, May 9th to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We're starting with a field trip to a special conservation easement along Stevens Creek to visit the historic Parks Mill and see the Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies. Then, we'll travel up the road to the Dorn Mill for dinner and speakers - including Mary Tobin with the McCormick County Historical Commission and our Executive Director, Wade Harrison.
