This organization is enacted for the advancement and propagation of the Swaminarayan Sect of the Hindu Religion based on the teachings and principles of Lord Shree Sahajanand Swami which are set forth in the Shikshapatri. The Corporation is organized for the advancement and propagation of the Swaminarayan Sect of the Hindu Religion based on the teachings and principles of Lord Shree Salhajanand Swami which are set forth in Shikshapatri written by Lord Shree Sahajanand Swami Himself. Those principles are propagated and enunciated through two dioceses instituted by Lord Swaminarayan at Vadtal and Ahmedabad in the Gujarat state of India. The Corporation shall be related spiritually to the diocese at Vadtal in the Gujarat state of India (herein called Laxminarayandev Gadi ).The primary purpose and mission of this Corporation is to keep unity and uniform activities among local chapters in North America, under the name of Shree Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal affiliated with the Laxminarayandev Gadi, under the leadership of reigning Acharya Maharaj of Vadtal diocese, so that such organizations stay spiritually connected to Vadtal Sansthan ancl the Laxminarayandev Gadi.
