Marine Corps League

The Marine Corps League is a prominent United States Marine Corps-related nonprofit organization. It holds a unique status as the only congressionally chartered Marine Corps veterans organization in the United States. The League's charter was approved by the 75th U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on August 4, 1937.

The Marine Corps League was established in 1922, with Major General John A. Lejeune, the 13th Commandant of the Marine Corps, being one of its founding members.
