The Mission of the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA (PWYWCA), is to provide affordable housing and programs to women regardless of race, creed, or color. We serve women in transition to prevent homelessness. PWYWCA operates as an independent living facility. Provide for affordable housing to low-income working women and women with special needs. Also to provide educational, social and other community based activities to women in the community.
