Founded in 1991 the Minnesota Skating Scholarship Fund is the first of its kind dedicated to providing financial assistance to promising young skaters from within the Minnesota community. Since its inception the Minnesota Skating Scholarship Fund has provided thousands of dollars of assistance to Minnesota skaters. The Fund currently grants scholarships through the Harris Collins Award the Disbrow Award and the Marlys Larson Minnesota Gold Scholarship Award.
