Transracial Journeys envisions greater understanding of and support for transracially adopted persons and their families in all stages of life. TRJ envisions greater understanding of & support for transracially adopted persons & their families. At TRJ, we center the experiences and well-being of transracially adopted persons, ensuring that their needs, voices, and identities guide everything we do. We empower parents to grow beyond what they thought possible—challenging old paradigms, unlearning biases, and stepping into the lifelong work of raising confident, culturally connected children. Through camp, community, and education, we provide the tools and spaces necessary to navigate the complexities of adoption, race, and belonging, ensuring that every child finds a place where they are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Home - Transracial Journeys Transracial Journeys FAMILY CAMP 2025 Save the date for Family Camp 2025 July 31st August 3rd. This year we are pleased to announce that we will be back to Ohio University in Athens. As always we will create space for deep learning and development as well as moments for joy and connection. Together we will work to soften the sharp edges of exclusion that come with adoption family separation and differences of race.
