GDR Inc is a not for profit volunteer driven dawg rescue dedicated to saving the lives of old and aging dawgs in our community. We are devoted to saving the lives of older dawgs who by no fault of their own are left homeless, scared, and without options. By encouraging the wonders of rescuing an old dawg, we hope to restore their dignity thru the love and kindness of our community.

Great Dawg Rescue - Home Welcome to the world of Great Dawg Rescue. GDR is a nonprofit 501c3 all volunteer driven dog rescue dedicated to saving the lives of adult senior and hospice aged retrievers that for whateverreason are suddenly left homeless scared and without options. Dawgs in our care are placed in local foster homes and receive all the necessary vet care and when needed hospice and long termmedical care. Short Note from the Founder of GDR When our focus shifted to saving big old dawgs in 2017 little did we know how great the need was.
