non-profit office building & community center in Madison WI. Home to 14 orgs/co-ops, art gallery, free pantry. Located on Willy St, est. 2000 A vibrant hub of social justice activity, collaboration and activism Our mission is to provide space for organizations to succeed in their pursuit of social justice and bring the community together in support of the common good. SJC houses local organizations critical to our community and serves as an incubator to help start-up organizations get off the ground. Our community center facilities also include an art gallery, meeting spaces, free pantry and a community garden. Through shared responsibilities and governance, our aim is to create an inspiring and collaborative environment where local organizations, activists, and community members can access resources, support and services needed to thrive.
