Our mission is "Reaching Out To Make A Difference!" OUR #1 PRIORITY IS SPAY/NEUTER IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES. We are also dedicated to ending the suffering of animals and of pets who are not properly being cared for. We are deeply saddened about senior pets ~~ pups and kitties ~~ who have no place to go. Some are disposed of outside and in pounds and shelters, and left with family members who are unable to care for them. We are seeking funding from an estate or foundation to purchase land with a building or buildings, to provide long-term care for disabled and/or elderly pets. The donation or property with buildings would be another option. The JCHS is also purchasing nice elevated aluminum Kuranda beds for rural and outstate pound facilities!

LAND WITH A HOUSE or BUILDINGS especially with an older farmhouse is desperately needed to provide Pet Hospice Care for senior pets and senior animals from pounds A Safe Loving Environment where special needs animals such as deaf blind dogs or cats could be assessed and placed with qualified agencies or individuals A Forever Home for vetted strayferal cats who have nowhere to go We would LOVE to create a facility where companion animals at risk of being euthanized for reasons of age special needs or other reasons for being homeless could be made comfortable and safe by caring volunteers. THIS DOG IS NOW SAFE AND WARM. This pup was finally brought in from rural Jefferson County after he had learned to trust us.
