The Mission of the U.S. Mariner's Association is to:(1) Support maritime education programs to promote high scientific and professional standards.(2) Encompass beneficial programs for the independent success of each member.(3) Sustain the organization to benefit both the professional and the industry.(4) Be part of the patriotic role of the American Mariner to aid in the protection of our Nation's environment, to serve and assist U.S. Homeland Security, and as an auxiliary to the U.S. Navy in time of war, national emergency, or call.
