The Humane Society of Calvert County is a limited admittance no-kill dog rescue in Calvert County MD. Open daily from 7am to 6pm. Dogs meet and greets By Appointment Only 10am to 5pm * Provide low cost spay and neuter for pets belonging to low income families within the community. * Providing assistance to members of the community who cannot keep or maintain their pets. * Provide counseling to pet owners regarding animal care, behavior and maintenance. * Provide humane education programs at public events and within the Calvert County schools when appropriate. * Provide companion animals to Calvert County families * Provide rabies & distemper vaccinations to protect the health and human welfare * Provide animal cruelty investigations, which often lead to the resolution of animal abuse. This activity enhances in the quality of life for member of the community who must otherwise watch an abused animal suffer.
