We are counting down the days till Make Music Day! On Saturday, June 21, the first day of summer, Waco will join more than 175 cities across the country and 750 worldwide in an international celebration of music—free and open to all! From early morning sidewalk sets to a sunset finale at the Waco Suspension Bridge, music will echo from parks, porches, patios, and storefronts across the city. This is a day for neighbors to become performers, for businesses to become stages, and for community to become chorus. Whether you’re a seasoned musician, a first-time strummer, or someone who just loves to listen, you’re invited. You can: – Host a jam session on your block – Offer your front porch or patio as a performance space – Lead a group choir – Pop up with a performance in your favorite corner of town The sky above Waco is the limit! This event is entirely free, family friendly, and open to everyone.
