Launching lifelong kingdom workers from every college town Our story began in 1981 as a campus-focused church a block away from UC Berkeley. Our first wave of graduates decided to stay around, excited to build up the church and minister to college students. What started as a small gathering of Berkeley students eventually grew to include families and kids. Other ministries were started so we could see every believer in our church grow to become ministers of the gospel: Interhigh, Elderly Care Ministry, Impact and more. But over the years we've remained true to our roots and focused on college campuses.

Starting as a very homogeneous local church in Berkeley we branched out to many cities and campuses and diversified our ministries. The scope of our ministries is such that our original local churchs name no longer adequately captures who we are. Acts2 Network Captures How Weve Changed Gracepoint Inaugural Service 2006 Over 15 years ago we caught the vision of an Acts 2 church in every college town and have now planted churches in 35 cities and birthed a number of parachurch ministries.
