Meet #TeamCHA champ, Ollie! 🌟 As a newborn, Ollie found his forever family while at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, where he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Over the years, Mary Bridge has taken great care of him and saved his life multiple times. At 15 months, he contracted RSV, became seriously ill, and needed 30 days on ECMO. Since then, Ollie has demonstrated time and time again that he is a fighter. He has undergone various procedures and treatments including skull surgery, heart surgery, leg and foot surgery, chest tubes, and more. Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital has made a significant impact on Ollie and his family. From lifesaving care to emotional support, his care team has been there each step of the way. Every year on Valentine’s Day, Ollie and his family visit the hospital and bring patients heart-shaped balloons- just like the one he got a few days before he was adopted! 🩷 🎈 Ollie and his family are joining us for #FAD2025 to share how access to care saved his life, and why #MedicaidMatters. Say hello to Nessa, one of our #TeamCHA stars! 👋 At birth, Nessa was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Thankfully, her team at Dayton Children's Hospital has provided her with the best specialty care team of 5 specialists who monitor and adjust her care as she grows. During her on-going visits, she has breathing treatments, bloodwork panels, and medication reviews to keep her as healthy as possible. Nessa is an ambassador for Dayton Children’s Hospital, where she gets to experience exciting events like college sports games, dance-a-thons, and bowling parties. She even got to meet Santa Claus and star in a commercial! 🌟 Nessa and her family are participating in #FAD2025 to share their story and why #MedicaidMatters for access and continuity of care with a team of specialists and pharmacies.
