Nicole died in her sleep on May 3 2014 from complications associated with Type 1 Diabetes. She was 15. We believe she suffered from the aptly yet oh so cruelly named Dead In Bed Syndrome someone with insulin dependent diabetes has gone to bed seemingly perfectly fine and then found dead in an undisturbed bed.
