BankIowa employees, plus the help of a family member, volunteered at the May 28th Cedar Rapids Kernels game against the Lake County Captains (the Kernels won the game!). BankIowans helped with concessions by serving guests drinks, food, and candy. They also learned how to heat and prepare giant pretzels and nachos. The weather was on the cool side but, overall, it was a great day for volunteering and baseball! #kernelsbaseball (fb)

❗Scholarship Award ❗ BankIowa offers graduating high school children of BankIowa employees a one-time scholarship of $2000 to be used toward continuing education. Recent grads taking advantage of the scholarship are Ayda Cook and Carter Palmer. Ayda plans to study Agriculture & Rural Policy Studies at Iowa State University. Carter will study Business at the University of Iowa. Pictured in the photo to the right of Ayda are her dad, Mike Cook, and BankIowa CEO Alison Urbina.
