For over 30 years, Aarti for Girls has been a space of transformation, where girls and women from underserved communities in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, are encouraged not just to dream, but to lead lives of purpose and independence. Over the years, our journey has been strengthened by the continued support of the Women Entrepowerment Project (WEP). Together, we have launched multiple initiatives that have empowered women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to shape their own paths. This year, we’re building on that foundation. In collaboration with WEP, we’re deepening our commitment by investing in the most powerful agents of change: skills, knowledge, and community. From tailoring and beautician training to financial literacy, leadership, and environmental science, these programs are more than vocational courses. They are pathways to self-reliance, dignity, and long-term impact. Introducing “Empowered Futures”, a monthly series that highlights the real stories of women rewriting their futures with confidence and courage. In February and March 2025, with the support of WEP, we launched a series of initiatives designed to equip women with tools to build independent, informed, and empowered lives. These efforts reflect our shared vision of a society where women are celebrated, educated, and able to make their own choices.
