We know many are looking for ways to help our fellow St. Louisans devastated by the May 16 tornado. Visit the “Give Help” section of the Tornado Response and Recovery page on the St. Louis City government website for information on donating funds and supplies, as well as volunteer efforts: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/recovery/tornado-2025/index.cfm The St. Louis Community Foundation has also shared multiple avenues for monetary donations and skilled and unskilled volunteer opportunities here: https://stlgives.org/resources/ The following supplies are urgently needed: • Tarps • 2x4 lumber • 4x8 sheets of plywood • Wood screws • Work gloves • N-95 Masks Supply drop-off locations: • O'Fallon YMCA • Urban League (Kingshighway location) • 4144 Martin Luther King Drive (serving The Ville neighborhood) In addition to building supplies, the St. Louis Area Food Bank is collecting nutritional and household items at the above supply drop off locations, as well as at the food bank located at 70 Corporate Woods Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044. Drop-off hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. HBA Member P & A Drywall is also collecting donations for the St. Louis Area Food Bank at 2600 Endicott Ave., St. Louis, MO 63114. Drop-off hours are Friday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 27 from 6 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thanks to all who are working to help those in need in the aftermath of the tornado! (fb)
