Adopt A Block, Inc., is a non-profit coalition and partners with the Baltimore City Police Department, City Government, local businesses, community associations, a diversity of social service and health agencies, as well as community residents. Our goal is to work together to bring restoration to our inner city - block by block. We work together to effectively meet the diversified needs of the individual, the family and their community: spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physical, through this organization. We began adopting blocks in the Eastern District of Baltimore City in 1991. We received our tax exempt status in 1994.
