In just one week, 6 members of Connection Pointe Christian Church will be heading to Kenya! Tanya, Scott, Christa, Millicent, April, and Bill will be assisting with the Lifeskills Workshop and are excited to spend time with John, Peres, and the KCEA students. John often goes above and beyond to ensure the KCEA students can access education. He recently made a 180kms trip on a rough and dusty Road to Napolosa Comprehensive secondary school to take Siana to a new school. This school change was necessary when her prevoius school did not have enough beds and two or three students were having to share the limited beds. Several other local dignitaries went on the trip and all were warmly received by the school Principal. He admitted Siana and assured John that she would be able to recover after having to delay entering school. Siana’s mom and grandma were both present and were overjoyed as they gave hugs and sobbed tears of joy. Napolosa Comprehensive school is a good performing school and we know Siana will thrive there!
