Providence Heights

Helping women deepen their faith and discover their purpose through a six-month journey. We are a residential training community whose purpose is to equip and empower women and their children (under 18 years old) to realize their full potential. Our plan is for women and children to thrive and not just survive. Within the one-year program, we teach entrepreneurial skills to encourage growth in core components of business development and personal development. Providence Heights is a place to have HOPE and to DREAM again.

Providence Heights

Providence Heights is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization focused on youth development, classified under Youth Development N.E.C. (NTEE) category. It operates as a religious, educational, and charitable entity, with donations eligible for tax deductions[1].

Mission and Programs

The organization aims to help women realize their purpose and potential by offering programs like the Illuminate Cohort, an educational ministry designed to enhance biblical literacy, foster spiritual growth, and promote leadership development. This program transforms women into impactful leaders across generations, guided by a deepened faith and purpose in Christ[2][4].

History

Providence Heights was established in response to a life-changing encounter experienced by its founder, Christine Soule. This encounter revealed a shared history of brokenness, addiction, and homelessness between her and a woman she met, prompting her to create an organization that prevents such crises by providing training, education, and support for women[2].

Governance

The organization is governed by a diverse board of directors with extensive leadership experience across multiple industries. Providence Heights emphasizes transparency and accountability in financial management and community engagement[2].

Financial Overview

As of 2023, Providence Heights reported revenues of $402,000 and expenses of $1.89 million. The organization holds total assets of $268,000 and liabilities of $47.1 thousand[1]. Historically, contributions have been the primary source of revenue, with most financial activity derived from donations[1].

Community Engagement

Providence Heights encourages community participation through various engagement methods, including giving, volunteering, and business partnerships. The organization supports initiatives that help restore families and communities by empowering women[5].
