To provide financial assistance to independent, local farmers, ranchers and growers in the Central Texas region, including Travis, Burnet, Williamson, Bastrop, Hays, Blanco and Caldwell Counties, who are experiencing medical hardships or emergencies; to raise such financial assistance by producing engaging community events which generate ticket sales, sponsorships and in-kind donations; to increase the number of independent, local farmers, ranchers and growers who are aware of emergency financial assistance; to educate the public about the practice and needs of independent farmers, ranchers and growers; to raise public awareness of the fragility of the business of independent farming; to promote the local food system and appreciation of its environmental and healthful benefits.
