AGC of America serves our nation's construction professionals by promoting the skill, integrity and responsibility of those who build America. We work for America's construction professionals by teaching the latest project delivery and safety techniques and by fighting for logical national policy issues. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS: 1) AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO QUALIFIED UNDERGRADUATE AND/OR GRADUATE STUDENTS ENROLLED AT ABET OR ACCE ACCREDITED SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES IN THE FIELD OF CONSTRUCTION OR CONSTRUCTION-RELATED ENGINEERING WHO DEMONSTRATE AN INTEREST IN PURSUING CAREERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AND MEET THE FOUNDATION'S ACADEMIC AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR CRITERIA FOR SUCH SCHOLARSHIPS; 2) PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT TEACHING FACULTY IN THE FIELD OF CONSTRUCTION OR CONSTRUCTION-RELATED ENGINEERING AT ABET OR ACCE ACCREDITED SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES; AND 3) AWARDING FUNDING FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PROJECTS OR OTHER PROGRAMS DEEMED TO BE BENEFICIAL TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL, TECHNOLOGICAL, OR VOCATIONAL EXPERTISE IN THE INDUSTRY WITH AWARDS BASED IN PART UPON RECOMMENDATIONS OF ABET OR ACCE ACCREDITED SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES OR OTHER GROUPS WITH SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE IN CONSTRUCTION OR CONSTRUCTION RELATED-ENGINEERING.

Main navigation User account menu Learn Main menu AGC Education and Research Foundation Supporting the Future Thanks to visionary volunteer leadership of AGC industry leaders the AGC Education and Research Foundation founded in 1968 has for 50 years made good on its commitment to support the future of our industry through its robust scholarship program and innovative projects. Scholarships Through endowments made by AGC members and supporters as well as AGC Chapters the Foundation is able to give 150 or more undergraduate and graduate scholarships each year to deserving students. Undergraduate students receive up to 2500 per academic year renewable for 3 years and Graduate students receive 3750 per academic year renewable up to 2 years. Since 1970 we have awarded over 4000 scholarships totaling over 11 million.
