A National Center for Latino Performing Arts IG/FB: @teatrogala A National Center for Latino Performing Arts GALA preserves and promotes Latino arts and culture and shares this rich Hispanic heritage through its theatre productions and r diverse performing arts programs. By developing,producing and presenting works that explore the breadth of Latino performing arts , GALA provides opportunities for the Latino artist, educates youth and engages the entire community in an exchange of ideas and perspectives. GALA nurtures a professional company of Latino artists; presents Latino/multicultural dancers, musicians and poets from the United States and abroad, and makes quality bilingual theatre education accessible to at-risk Latino youth and low-income Latino families, Through translated surtitles at each show, GALA builds awareness of the richness of this culture in non-Latino communities
