North Dakota Special Olympics, Inc.
Special Olympics North Dakota is an inclusive physical fitness, recreation, and sports program for persons with intellectual disabilities in North Dakota. Special Olympics North Dakota advances athletic, fitness, education, health, and leadership opportunities for individuals with and without intellectual disabilities in ND. Athlete Oath: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
