Provides superior primary education to Ugandan children. Proceeds fund the education of children who cannot pay full tuition including many orphans Give Hope Ministries is a new global model of community assistance that helps alleviate poverty and offers hope for the children and families in Busia, Uganda. This area lacks widespread access to quality education, and is home to one of the country’s most serious orphan crises as a result of the AIDS epidemic. By offering a reproducible model, Give Hope Ministries meets these needs by offering accessible quality education; providing a home for local orphans; teaching income-generation skills to the community; and caring for the emotional and spiritual needs of Busia’s children. Our goal is to not only assist in alleviating poverty for the families and children in Uganda, but to use this model for other communities in similar poverty-stricken areas.
