PERTHES KIDS FOUNDATION, A 501C3 NONPROFIT, WAS ESTABLISHED TO RAISE GLOBAL AWARENESS, FUNDS FOR RESEARCH, AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES DEALING WITH LEGG-CALV-PERTHES DISEASE, A DEGENERATIVE HIP BONE DISORDER (A RARE FORM OF OSTEONECROSIS), THAT MAKES IT PAINFUL TO WALK, RUN, AND PLAY LIKE MOST KIDS. WE ARE THE ONLY ACTIVE CHARITY FULLY DEDICATED TO PERTHES DISEASE ADVOCACY AND HAVE CHAPTERS AND KIDS CAMPS IN THE USA, UK, AUSTRALIA, AND SOUTH AMERICA.
