Environmental Restoration Group - ERG - Beverly Shores The Beverly Shores Environmental Restoration Group The Environmental Restoration Group takes action to reestablish environmental balance in our community. We believe we have a responsibility to nurture our unique natural environment in the Indiana dunes The dunes ecology is threatened by expansion of animal species whose natural checks have been eliminated and many invasive plant species that threaten to replace much of our native plant diversity with plant monocultures. We work to control invasives Our projects include our longterm programs to monitor and control the deer population and to eradicate Tree of Heaven.
