OCMTBA is a non-profit, IMBA Chapter, organization dedicated to promoting responsible mountain biking Orange County Mountain Bike Association (OCMTBA) is devoted to the promotion of the sport of mountain biking and views the sport as a vehicle to promote low impact outdoor recreation, conservation, and opportunities that are environmentally and socially responsible. Founded in 1988, as SHARE, OCMTBA is a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to creating great places to ride, promoting responsible riding and ethical behavior among the mountain biking community. Working in partnership with land owners and managers, OCMTBA promotes outdoor volunteer stewardship to improve trails and facilities of wilderness areas; works and forms alliances with other user groups to ensure a quality trail experience for all user.
