News

BCYB students recently had the opportunity to learn about financial literacy from Mr. William Fisher, a representative of Coastal Credit Union. They gained an understanding of debt and the key differences between a bank and a credit union. This valuable information will help them make informed financial decisions in their lives. The students were highly engaged and are eagerly looking forward to Mr. Fisher’s return to complete the financial literacy simulation. Thanks for spending time with BCYB, Mr. Fisher! (fb)

Bull City YouthBuild on the road! Students recently took a field trip to the Durham County Main Library @durhamcountylibrary where they utilized the library catalog and books to research prominent people in the Civil Rights movements. They are now using this research to write short biographical essays. Go team! (fb)
