We are a non-profit organization that provides sensory-based theater and arts programs for individuals with disabilities. To empower people with disabilities and their families though creative expression and sensory exploration. Our vision is to give each individual the opportunity to reach their full potential, be their authentic selves, and become a valued member of the local community. STEP VA aims to provide experiences in the performing and visual arts that develop the individual expression of all people with disabilities, regardless of age or ability. STEP VA leads with values and beliefs that recognize that all people with disabilities can develop to their full potential and engage in a just, equitable community when supported with the appropriate accommodations. Through the arts, all people can be heard and seen; the possibilities are endless!
