Katie Koala was thrilled to stop by Poyner Elementary this morning as part of their Relay Recess event! Katie Koala is a part of Eucalyptus Tree, Cedar Valley Hospice's free youth grief program. Cedar Valley Hospice’s Youth Grief Camp? 🎲 💔 A safe space to acknowledge your grief and feelings 🎵 Activities that encourage conversation about your loved one, including games, music and crafts 🫂 Connection with other youth who have experienced the death of a loved one 😌 The opportunity to learn and talk about coping strategies Join us from 10-3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 at Hawkeye Community College. This camp is free and available to all youth ages 5-12 who have experienced a death for any reason (the death did not need to occur on our hospice program).
