On a mission to unite and engage our communities by improving quality of life through education, financial stability, and health in southwest Georgia. The United Way of Southwest Georgia is advancing the common good daily through programs that provide community impact, partnerships and our commitment to facilitating change in our community. Advancing the common good means creating opportunities for a better life for all. Our vision for society is: to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities in Southwest Georgia. Our mission is: a community where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives. We implement our vision and mission through our primary purpose of raising and distributing funds for community impact work to help meet the needs of several partner programs under the areas of education, income, basic needs and health in Southwest Georgia.
