Indiana Parks Alliance is proud to award a 2025 Project Assistance grant for $470 to Friends of the Limberlost. The project will replace two unreadable interpretive signs on quarter mile Veronica's Trail at Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve near Geneva (Adams County), in northeast Indiana. Veronica's Trail is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible to overlooks of Loblolly Marsh. Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve was designated the 250th nature preserve by IDNR Division of Nature Preserves in 2012. Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve is part of the Limberlost State Historic Site, where renowned conservationist and author Gene Stratton-Porter lived and protected this precious resource.
