Staffed by seasoned professionals with extensive private sector experience, JobsOhio works outside - but alongside - state and local governments. It is governed by a private board of directors and focuses on nine private economic sectors and the Military/Federal sector, principally making loans and grants to support business attraction, expansion, and retention efforts within the state. JobsOhio utilizes four strategies to drive economic development: Sites, Talent, Innovation, and Inclusion. JobsOhio works with six regional partners across Ohio: Dayton Development Coalition, Ohio Southeast-APEG, One Columbus, REDI Cincinnati, Regional Growth Partnership, and Team NEO.
