THE HALIFAX VOLUNTEER FIRE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES FIRE AND MEDICAL EMERGENCY PROTECTION FOR APPROXIMATELY 3500 HOUSEHOLDS IN THE AREA SERVED. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES THIS SERVICE THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF THE RELEVANT EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING OF ITS MEMBERS.
