Nemo Search and Rescue
The purpose of NEMO Search & Rescue is to assist area officials and agencies in meeting their Public Safety objectives during times of disaster and emergencies. Our team of volunteers are dedicated to saving lives, whether it's a lost child who wanders off, a heart-attack victim out in the wilderness or even an injured backpacker. Our team of volunteers along with our K-9s conduct searches for those lost or injured at any time in any weather for as long as it takes for FREE. To be prepared for that, team members volunteer countless hours of training. We rely on donations from individuals, groups, and corporations for equipment, training and supplies. NEMO Search & Rescue is also a non-profit 501(c)3 public charities.
